Last updated: September 2026

M.B. Patil Education respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our admission guidance services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Information we collect

  • Details you give us: name, mobile number, email, city, qualification, entrance exam details, the colleges and courses you are interested in, counselling preferences and any message you send.
  • Application information: documents and academic details you choose to share during the admission process.
  • Referral and campaign information: the referral code or advertising campaign (for example UTM parameters) that brought you to our website, and the page you first landed on.
  • Usage information: pages viewed on our website, such as college and course pages, used in aggregate to improve our service.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide admission counselling.
  • To schedule and conduct counselling sessions you request.
  • To share your application details with the college you have selected, for the purpose of admission.
  • To associate your enquiry with the admission consultant who referred you, where applicable.
  • To send you updates about your enquiry or application by call, SMS, WhatsApp or email.
  • To prevent spam and misuse, and to meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

  • Partner colleges — only the college(s) relevant to your enquiry or application.
  • Referring consultants — if you reached us through a registered consultant's referral, that consultant can see the status of your enquiry.
  • Service providers — such as hosting, messaging and email providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities — where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and encryption of sensitive fields, to protect your data.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw your consent to being contacted at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out. To make a request, please contact us.

Cookies and browser storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in to our portals, and your browser's session storage to remember the campaign or referral link that brought you to our website during a visit.
